Thanks for replies, I really wanted the solid ones. I've seen the Brickwerks ones. Looks like it's going to have to be their's. I've no problem whatsoever with Brickwerks stuff of course, I just wanted the solid type but hey ho!

Is it wise to change all 4 per side (if changing to a telescopic due to 1 leaking) due to age - or best left alone & only replace the 1 that is leaking ?

Want to do what's best :-)

Having checked my engine - there is oil still in there (so looks like I didn't lose all my oil after all) - starting to feel more optomistic.

How long (roughly) would a garage take to change each one ? (using the brickwerks telescopic ones).

The choice is yours, if the others are not leaking maybe leave them, cheaper that way too.
garage is usually 1 hour min labour and it's less than a 1 hour job usually but I found on a late van at least one pushrod would not come out with exhaust in way no3 cylinder, others on that side may be same.

I have about a thousand used genuine pushrod tubes, if anyone needs any. A quick wipe down with brake cleaner and they come up like new.
