Engine number

Post by alank950 »

Can anyone tell me where the engine number is located on the engine block.According to my text book its a cs number which as far as I am aware that leaves it a .16D although when I went to order a timing belt kit the one that fitted it was for a 1.9D and a 1.6D kit did not fit ..need to check the engine number on the actual engine block....thanks

alot of engines have been changed, a pic or two would probably identify it.
