T25 exterior pop up roof protection?

Post by cjkid »

Looking to repaint, seal and protect the exterior of my T25 pop-up roof as it is looking very worn and seems to be causing damp on the inside felting. Can anyone recommend a product that would help to solve this? Found something called Plasti Dip, a rubber paint. Any ideas whether this might work?

When you say the felt is becoming damp, whereabouts exactly? Are you quite sure that your sylight, if fitted, or the side windows aren't leaking? If however the fibreglass has lost some of its gel coat or has become pourous, aka 'boat pox' ( the coloured shiny skin over the glass fibre ) then yes, you'd need to put something back over the damaged section/s to seal it again though I've never heard of the stuff you mention so can't say if its any good or not.

:ok
