Normal seats to rock/roll seats?

My camper conversion is almost done, but i would not want to throw away my back seats, especially when they are GL trim. I wonder can you somehow modify your 3seater to rock and roll style? I have bed area in the back but its way too short for a tall guy like me.

Yes can be done but not easy, full width rock and roll mechanism still available from vw, go to page 2 of this section of forum and scroll down and look at my post on subject. If you need measurements etc im here to help.

Will it bend forward or backwards? You got any pictures with cushions on?

It is converted to move exactly like the factory seat/bed, its full width and the seat base is strengthened in the same way aswell. There is only a base cushion, the GL has three seat shapes which isnt good for a bed so the higher areas are shaved down. Its easier to convert a basic caravelle seat, no armrests etc.
