How was the setup of the fuel injection aspects, Itchy?
Difficult, or `plug and play` ?

didn't need to set anything up, it just worked
It was mull of mayo so I had to strip it all, clean and rebuild, changed fuel hoses too but it all just worked, lucky perhaps.

I have DJ envy

Nothing wrong with my DG, but a little more poke would be nice.
Every now and again I think about a DJ Syncro - then I wake up and give myself a damn good talking to.

I got lucky with mine. Had no idea what I was doing, and bought something ( anything ) that happened to cross my path
It could have been a disaster waiting to happen, so I wouldn't want to tempt fate..... Yet

Well done on your build, I would be made up if I had managed it :ok

'Had one for 10 years'.......oh, I see. Like that is it? Getting all cliquey with the new 2.1 Gang and leaving us wheezing 1.9 carburetted owners behind. Nice knowing ya.......

Looking marvellous Paul and as Smiffo says that is one tidy looking engine bay. Keep us updated on the old girl's progress as she goes on.

I'm working on a plan to sort the bus out when the weather starts to warm up a bit - typically everything seems to pack up at the same time as my motorbike has now taken precedent as need to get it ready for the trip to the TT and just had to re-do all the gearbox bearings on the scoot too:

Gearboxes have eluded me so far :D

Another 100 miles on the engine today, went to pick up a mig welder and Miss itchy entered the wrong postcode in the satnav, should have been a 60 mile round trip

never mind good to put miles on it :ok
