Just read through this also. You've done a good job. I have my van to do soon, so good to see someone doing it first!

LOL, the wife tried to tell me it was all part of the VW experience - being a little bit fussy about building stuff that WORKS i was not of the same mind!

Just need to find a spare pump to get the part from now!

yeh, when i went to start it i couldn't find that much info on lining our vans, so the pics from Batesy and JonB were really helpful. That is why I thought i would start the thread so when people do it in the future there is at least a few build threads that show some of the challenges. :)

Carpeting looks good, think if I still had my panel I redo the roof with batons like you have to make it more secure. Also liked the vertical bar behind the panel opposite the sliding door, mine wobbled a little bit. I'd still keep my flashy LEDS under the rock n roll for ambience though

Hope the mechanicals get sorted for you soon.

Thanks for taking the time to post pictures and sharing your efforts.

Looks great and will use your experience carpeting my bare panels.

Carpet lining a panel van

Looks cracking. Stretchy carpet? How was it to work in the tight bits? Also what glue did you use as I used carpet spray glue and bits are coming off? Who did you get the carpet from? £?
Thanks

@Da Dan - yep stretchy carpet from MegaVanMats - they do a kit including hi temp glue so it doesn't fall off (like ordinary carpet spray glue :D )

Pretty easy to work with TBH, prices are on the MVM web site.
