Hi all you wise and wonderful people....
My truma heater no longer works on be heat function. There appears to be something wrong
with the black box of electrical doom!
This heater has been working fine up until recently my girlfriend, when the heater was on, turned off the gas supply, thus stopping the heater working, but failed to switch the heater off. When I found it a few days later the red light was on and the leisure battery almost drained. I didn't have time to hang around so unplugged the battery and with my fingers crossed.
When I plugged the battery in again (heater switched off) the fan started up. Weird. Eventually it stopped and after a little playing around got it working normal. But now, when it sounds like the the heat ignition is kicking in, it makes a horrible horrible sound.
Hopefully the attached video will help.
What could be the problem.
Thanks
James

Thanks, I'll try that a go.
Strangely enough I tried the heater the next day and it worked fine.
