KY Diesel Engine Spares

Post by Scottish Motorsport »

Hi All,
Could someone please tell me the best place to buy service parts for my 1.7D KY Engine. I have searched on the internet for injectors but nothing seems to come up thank you for your help.

You can take your injectors to a diesel injection specialist who will replace the working parts. Punch mark them 1 to 4 so you can fit them back to the same injection pipe when you get them back.

I get most of my service spares such as cam belt kits, aux belts, oil, filters, antifreeze from my local Motor factors.

Brickwerks on line (and on here!) have a good range of the more special VW stuff, and they do try to supply decent quality parts. Have a trawl of their website to see what's available.

Some parts are still available from VW dealers. Worth checking out as they aren't always more expensive, and are always OE quality.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
