Sycro Fuel tank in 2wd T25

Hi guys,

Putting the feelers out to see if anyone has put an additional fuel tank in the a 2wd T25 to add range?

I see there is a chap in SA that fabricates stainless steel tanks that fits under the floor pan, just inside the sills but I may have missed his shipment to the UK.

So I was thinking, would a Syncro tank fit?

For filling purposes I would use a low pressure fuel pump to move the fuel between tanks. This would require a reversing of polarity of the pump for ingress/egress between the tanks.

I could use the feeds both sender units via a toggle switch to the fuel gauge to check the levels in each of the tanks.

Any info would help as driving the old girl to Italy in 12 weeks and don't want to stop every 200 miles or so to refuel.
