You need a Pierburg 025129015J for automatics. Nothing coming up on Google but how about buying one of these and making one good carb. from what your got already?

Cheers for the reply. I looked at Julian's site and saw that, still means mine plus that will need rebuilding possibly. So I've bit the bullet and Roger will do me a rebuild on mine and return it back as it should be. It will be something ticked off the list, i'll move onto the next problem :lol:

Under £400 for a brand new one. J suffix is correct for auto too. Brickwerks can get it for you from Germany (Classic P).

There's also the cheaper brosal copy from VWH, at £260 retail. Not tried one yet myself, but I understand Steve at Gasure sells them.
