kmh to mph clocks question....

...just taken out my kmh clocks to convert to mph and have noticed the kmh clock has a pcb and what looks like a electromagnet in it? mph clock has nothing. the kmh clocks have come out of a 1986 1.7 n/a diesel. whats it for and will my world end if i fit the mph clocks? cheers

It's probably the circuit for the oil pressure warning "buzzer of doom", six pin connector?
You could remove it from the kph speedo and either fit it to the mph one or just secure it to a suitable location behind the instruments.

fitted to the mph clocks this morn and buzzed its t**s off as soon as it was re-connected! b-o-d! :lol:
