Can't seem to find it on the wiki anymore - but I'm sure i read on the forum somewhere - what the acceptable level for emissions were on our aged vans?
Does anyone have this information handy?
Would be useful to have in the back pocket on the day -

CO less than or equal to 3.5%
HC less than or equal to1200ppm

Non-cat pre 1992.

Also if the HC is above the limit at idle it can be tested at 2000rpm

mot pass - no advisories :ok
took the forum hints - changed oil and filter - new air filter -
cleaned carb - half hour run in van - nicely warmed up - straight to mot appointment -
no probs :)
can 'keep on keeping on' :ok
