
changed the pressure cap - to no avail - (though that's no guarantee!) -
going to persevere with my checking pipes and connectors all the way to the rad + heater valve + will double check how header tank looks when hot -
perplexes me -
engine bay tank up to the brim - header tank up to max - long drive - heater fine -
back home - engine hot - engine bay tank still up to the brim - coolant in header tank doesn't seem to have moved at all - leave overnight - check in the morning - engine bay tank still up to the brim - header tank below minimum!
