I must dig out the old pictures of us as a family camping in t25 transporters and caravelles in the late '80s early '90s next time I'm at my Mum's.
Mostly they weren't converted, just had bedding thrown in. I'm sure there's pics of around Skye etc.

I've replaced my vacuum advance unit with a powerspark one.
Timing set as per Itchy's "how to do timing" thread. Thanks Itchy. :ok
All seems good in that department.
Engine still stumbling when warming up, think it's lean so I'll start a new thread about that.

Bob, until you get it sorted properly - get the engine up to temp, then turn the mixture screw clockwise until you feel the revs start to drop and then unscrew about half a turn to 3/4's and see if that makes a difference. Also might be worth checking the condition of the hose from advance to carb - is it the braided type?

Thanks 300ce.
I screwed it right in (several turns) and no drop in revs so backed it out to 1 1/2 turns out.

I see they put a new fence in, round here there would be several new blocks of flats and maybe a bypass in the same time frame.
