Which truck mirrors?

Post by djswain1 »

I'm looking to upgrade from the standard mirrors to The truck style mirrors prices in delivery :
A H Schofield - make : genuine VW £250
Brickwerks - make: not specified £226.20
Camper Van Culture - make: not specified £ 225.98
VW Heritage - make not specified £205.80
Has anyone got experience of the truck mirrors from any of these suppliers?

Some people fit Landrover mirrors. They are so much cheaper and get good reviews on here.

Go for the Landrover mirrors -best thing I ever did with mine - cost circa £50 - you need to get the brackets from Rowley - all the details on this thread:

Thanks everyone I've ordered a set from Brickwerks. Thanks for the info on the land rover ones but I prefer the look of the VW ones.

Better still (in my view) ar the fully chrome 'vintage' US truck-style ones. No idea if they'd even fit but cool looking. Even with shipping, still well under £100.

They seem to ;)

Its the only mirror I've ever liked. I know those huge electric ones can command a high price but I just think they look incongruous. Not as classy as those West Coast mirrors anyway, although I accept its down to personal taste. Some may favour old Anglia ones :D

Fitted my VW Syncro truck style mirrors this weekend. Very pleased with them, much much better rear view, stable and can be folded flat against the door and returned back into place without losing the desired position.
