Hello there!
I'm the proud owner of a 1990 Holdsworth Villa camper. Can anyone point me in the direction of a repair job on my rock 'n roll bed? The right hand hinge has broken and the bed is currently out of action. Is this a repair I can have a go at myself with new parts? I'm not inclined to try myself - I'm generally useless at any form of diy! I try but the end result isn't always what I expected!. I also don't have access to drive/garage facilities. I'm in the peak district. Thanks all! Would really appreciate any advice you are able to impart.
Brian

one of the pins will have probably broke.

What is the problem with it, has the hinge actually broken?
On mine, the small spring pinged off the mechanism, therefore not allowing the the hinge to unlatch, simples to fix!

Re: Rock 'n roll bed
Hello again
Thanks for your replies!
The pin has parted company with the hinge mechanism. For a while I was able to keep pushing the pin back through the pivot hole and use cable tie to hold it firm. The pin then fell off and the hinge mechanism collapsed. At first I thought I could simply somehow replace the pin but with the bed in situ this doesn't seem an option? Hope this further info helps!
Our next trip was to be after Christmas to visit our daughter in Falmouth, so a speedy repair would be great.
Thanks again

Could it be replaced with a bolt?
