Respray in the North

Post by LeedsWelshExile »

I've searched the archive and I'm struggling to find someone within a reasonable radius who'll take on a full respray and seam repair on my 1990 Westy.

I'd like someone with a track record that understands the root causes of the rot, condensation issues etc.

Does anyone know of any great bodyshops or have any recommendations in the North or England?

I'm based in Leeds but would be willing to travel (within reason) to leave Vera in good hands.

thanks

There's a chap who did mine from Market Weighton. Did a fine job, was very conscientious and reasonably priced. Could give you his details if the distance isn't too far.

Thanks - that'd be great. It's only the other side of York - I was expecting to at least have to cross the Pennines or head to the Midlands.

I've read a lot about the issues with the seams on T25's and the problems of rusting from the inside out so I'm keen to use someone who's experienced this.

Did your respray entail removing all of the interior furniture?

Thanks gents.

I'd like to speak to a couple of people who've worked on T25's so there's a couple of options in my inbox.

thanks for the suggestions thus far...
