Auto sleeper electrics fault

Post by Bell33 »

Hi, just wondered if anyone had any advice on fixing a fault on our 1985 auto sleeper, the water gauge, sink pump, and interior (courtesy) lights don't work but the fridge and plug socket work when hooked up to mains. We've checked all fuses in zig and glove compartment but nothing has blown. Struggling to find where else to look. We have a leisure battery fitted and it is well charged.

There is an inline fuse between the split charge relay and the zig unit so check if that has blown.

This video shows where it is hiding: https://youtu.be/5JxAujUNd3s

Could it be the switch on the control panel that's faulty? Worth pulling it out and check if there's power to the switch.

Thanks the inline fuse and switch are both fine. Not sure where else to check.

OK so if you've checked all the live circuits then all that's left are the grounds to the panel.
Have you removed the panel to look inside?
