Getting LPG cooker/heater working

Post by rycoombs1 »

Hi Guys,

Today I tried to figure out how to get my cooker/LPG heater up and running..

I've checked the level of LPG in the tank and the meter is reading as it being half full... opened the valve on the outside of the van (turning anti-clockwise.. I've tried it turned fully both ways just in case).. went inside and open the main tap, the truma tap and the cooker tap.. however I turn the cooker on I hear no hissing and my truma heater doesn't fire..

Is there a step I'm missing? or perhaps it needs a top up on LPG, not sure when the previous owner last filled it.. he said he hadn't used the stove or heater in a long time..

My guess is that there's another stop "cock" somewhere.
