Help, sliding door problem.
I have been re furbing my vans interior and had just fitted the last panel and was ready to refit the furniture when the sliding door opened by about inches and would go no further. Up til now i have never had any issues with the door and i cant seem to get it to slide any further.I removed the cover panel to reveal the runner but can not see any obvious problem, any ideas would be gratefully recieved as my wife is getting pretty fed up with the vans interior sitting in our dining room ! Thanks in anticipation, Chris.

Re: Help, sliding door problem.
Has the roller crumbled? It happened to me last year - it looked ok until it split apart, then it was *obvious* why the door wouldn't open!

Might help if you say what type of sliding door you have, early or late.

Re: Help, sliding door problem.
Red face time (again! ), I had a eureka moment at 5 am this morning , when fitting the carpet edging strip by the door i used a different self tapper in one of the holes, it was a bit longer than the originals and was fouling the bottom runner. The door closed because it had bent the screw on the way past but had insufficient force to pass it the other way! Thanks for your replies and advice, i'm going away now to boil my head!
