Was thinking about getting one of these yesterday....

30 sounds alot for a lidl tool... Although a makita would be nice, its not worth the £160.
Black & decker was one of the first but looks a bit DIY these days.

My money is on an evolution from FFX for £41 delivered. I do like my evolution chop saw.

This looks spot on, I bought a macallister one from b&q and it did sterling work on my roof replacement job.

Don't pay through the nose for belts though, buy full size sanding belts and cut them down. I find they last longer and cost pennies not pounds when they snap.

I bought one of the Silverline ones for under£30. I can't realy fault it apart from being being a little underpowered. I didn't want one with the motor sticking out the side as it restricts where you can get into.

I bought a dremel knock off from Lidl, it was absolutely pathetic, zero torque. Anyone know if this is better?
