Diesel - Temp/Oil Sensors?

Post by pgra0909 »

Quick question - Still have issues here... really sick now.
Think all my wires are mixed up after being in the garage for head rebuild. I haven't even left my drive yet!!
Battery Light on the dash is on all the time when running.
Temperature Light just flashes all the time.... and the needle hits the top.
What I need to know it the following -

- I know the engine temperature sensor (the one in the head.. I think)
- The oil pressure switches??? there are 2 one just next to the above sensor and one one the right nearest the battery. Which is high revs and which is low??
- There are 2 water temperature sensors opposite each other on the rubber hose out the back of the engine. They look the same and should have a wire on each. Which is which?? looking down on it there is one on the left and one on the right. does it matter which wire goes on which sensor.

At the minute I have 5 wires.. I think I've worked out which one is for which sensor.. but the question is which sensor is which? I anyone can help I'd really appreciate it... Thanks ever so much guys.. one sick T25 owner :rofl

You could do with a cheap multimeter ..
The high pressure oil switch is on the oil filter stand ( yellow wire )
Low pressure oil switch ( blue wire )is on the front of the head above the heater pipe.
That's a start! Have a look at the " Wiki"
I dont think, so I'm not[do I exist?]
