Floors

Post by kriswhite »

Hi all,

Ive just removed all the nasty laminate from the floor of the T25 :?

Any ideas as to what to replace it with?

I'm thinking to strip it right back (theres still lino and 2 layers of ply there!) , paint the floor with POR15 and soundproof it somehow.

Suggestions?

I'm using 12mm wbp plywood on mine. Might put 8mm foam and bubble foil under it.

If you're stripping it right back, sound deadening mat approx 50% coverage, kiravans insulation (http://www.kiravans.co.uk/thermo-acoust ... er-surface) and some 9mm WBP ply. then finishes of your choice, i.e. carpet etc.
