panel van bulk head removal
Had my panel van for a week and a half already. I just took the bench seat out the front and slid on a single passenger seat that can with the van. As my plan is to convert to a camper I want to take out the bulk head, how easy is it? Thanks in advance.

There are lots of spot welds that need carefully drilling out with a spot weld drill bit, and also welds to the b post which are visible. Take it steady and dont drill deeper than you need to.

Thanks for the advice. I decided to leave the bulkhead in place in the end and just cut a walkway through. I was not sure if it would be strong enough once cut but seems ok and once it has cupboards fixed to it will be fine. Will finish off with some edge trim once i get to that bit.

Sold the seat awhile ago. I also ended up removing the rest of the bulk head as I felt they were a bit too flimsy like that in the end.jackskater wrote:thinking of doing the same with mine, but do you have anyplans to sell the bench seat youve removed? if so im keen
