Pas query

Post by what2do »

Can anyone confirm if a pas pump and pulley from a 2.1 will fit a dg? Many thanks.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

Ha! :D I set 'em up... :D

So, the longer answer is Yes, they will fit. But ignore the 10 deg timing mark on the DJ pulley (remark it at 5 deg BTDC), and you'll need the matching pulley bolt, and do it up much tighter, and your o/s head must have the 3 posts drilled and tapped out for the pump carrier (if not, it can be done in situ - as I found out one day when fitting an engine in my pickup without giving this a thought beforehand! What made it worse was the other head had the holes! ).

Cheers AJ, I do recall reading one of your posts about this done time ago. So, as well as the pas components, it looks as though I'll need to gather more pics of where the holes need tapping. Many thanks.
