Propex hs2000 query

I have a propex s2000 that needs to go in my van, I plan to fit inside the bedbox but am a little confused by the installation diagram.

do i need to drill 1 hole in my kick panel or 2?

obviously i want the heat coming out of it but I've seen pictures of other peoples vans with 2 grills on the kick panel but am unsure of what the second would be for if the intake is supposed to be mounted on the exterior of the van. Thanks folks and help would be greatly appreciated.

You have an external inlet and exit for the combustion chamber, which uses the smaller diameter flexible metal ducting. The blown air into the van has seperate inlet and outlets. The outlet will usually be into the kick panel if the heater is under the seat, connected with larger plastic ducting. The inlet for the blown air is usually located inside the van (ie recirculated) and can be ducted from the kick panel, but often is left open into the underseat space if there is adequate airflow without ducting (my Propex 1600 is like this).

Ok thats great, i'm guessing people may have just mounted a second grill just for circulation then, i'll probably do the same. Thanks for your speedy response!
