No front lights after blower repair

Hi just a little problem to solve but need help no front light after blower repair no side/dip or high beam at all the back and dash lights work fine.when I was repair the blower I had a Little tidy up of the wiring like taking out an old JR alarm which I never had the fob for so it had to go I never cut into any of the mane wiring when removing the alarm .I have one live at the switch yellow and red wire I have tried looming the live to all the other wires with no joy but nothing no lights still I found this plug but not sure what it for Image

You've probably disturbed one of the earth crowns.

No mate got earth there but no lives took yellow plug from back of fuse box and put live Direct bypassing fuse box and they all work just need to test wires from fuse box to switch but not sure of the colours.

Does anybody know if there is a relay for the light if so which one

Looks like you haven't connected the plug for the dipswitch.

Where is the dip switch located is it on the steering column. Because I don't remember disconnecting it

It uses the same column stalk as the indicators. Don't think it would affect the sidelights though?

PS No relay for the lights as standard (although they are a useful modification).

i had asimilar problem the other week,, had side lights & high beam ,just no dipped beam.turned out to be the ignition switch..there should be TWO lives at the ignition switch..thing is , the side lights work with no ignition on ,its worth a look tho.

Hi I seen your posting and check all that was mention but no joy but something did come out of it I found the yellow and black wire to the ignition was loose in the connecter but that only repaired the blower and wipers just going to plug the dip plug in that bigherb said report back later

Excellent bigherb all lights working now I don't know how that plug come unplug but Alls well here now
