Oil light on dash
Hi all can someone just confirm what is supposed to happen with the oil light on startup because when I start my van up the oil light flashs all the time till I start it then it goes out is this right or should it stop flashing before I start it I have waited for a few minutes but it just keeps flashing till I start it

Re: Oil light on dash
On vans with two oil pressure switches and the "buzzer of doom" oil pressure warning circuit then the light flashes until the engine starts and oil pressure rises. If it starts flashing when the engine is running then you have a problem, but your's is working as expected.
