We started out with a fan heater but it was surprisingly noisy when we were trying to sleep. We've got a cheap halogen heater now and it's, obviously silent and it keeps us very toasty. It's got a very efficient cut out if it falls over . Lots of 80-90 owners use small oil filled radiators and this would be another option.
Are we going on anything else?

Same here, got 2 different fan heaters that we haven't used in several years, generally too noisy to use at night plus they tend to dry the air. Good at warming up the van quickly but that's about it. Our preferred electric heater is a 1500 watt oil filled radiator.

We've got a DeLonghi fan heater, small, light, quiet and heats up quickly. It proved invaluable for drying out when we got stranded in the floods in the Lakes last December.

Hello,

I've got the one from Lidl..

Remote control, auto and manual settings..I set it up between the driver and passenger seat on an inclined foam pad..

I pre-set the temp at 14 Celcius.. when it gets to temp it then cuts off..

Really can't complain about the noise.

I reckon it is quieter than the Eberspacher I'm hoping to fit soon..

Cordialement,

:ok
