Individual rear lights to replace on HiTop
Hi,
I have a 1989 T25 Reimo HiTop and I would like to replace the rear top light units. The present ones do not work, are broken, and when removed leave three holes in the fibreglass. See photographs. Do you know how I might replace these with the same or similar please. Thanks, Alreflect

They are trailer marker lights, nowdays usually made as LED units, plenty of styles to chose from on Ebay etc.

Surely you shouldn't be showing yellow lights on the rear?

Zooming in - looks more yellow to me but hard to judge on computer screens as they all have slight variations. Of course they could be indicator repeaters if yellow - don't know why they were put up there whatever they are.

Re: Individual rear lights to replace on HiTop
Thanks for all your replies. I have found it difficult to find a replacement and did consider covering the holes with fibreglass and paint. However, I doubt I would have been able to make a good job of this, producing a smooth colour matched painted finish. Also, having this feature on this T25 possibly adds to it’s individuality and it would be a shame to loose this.
I then found a LED lamp on the internet which I am currently considering.
This is a black square top/tail LED lamp 100x100x28mm made by LEDautolamps. Two of these would cover the holes adequately, would look good and retain some function, providing the wiring is OK. They are rated for 12/24 volt and draws a current of 13.8volts; stop - 0.33 amps and tail 0.04 amps.
Do you think these LED lamp would be OK in my 1989 12volt camper van? I would initially wire up to the tail lamp feature. A fuller cable with tail and stop might be added at a later date.
I would appreciate your advice.
Thanks, Alex

Do check the vehicle lighting regs yourself, but IIRC outline markers are only required on vehicles over 2.1m wide, but are permitted on vehicles taller then 1.85m. If fitted, they must be E-marked, and for that purpose have output no greater than a 5w tungsten bulb.
If you look in the caravan / motorhome market you'll find some good options, both Hella and Britax units are available very close to what you need. eg:

Re: Individual rear lights to replace on HiTop
Hi Syncroandy, Thanks for this, really useful information. I will explore these marker lamps from Hella and Britax.
My T25 is 2.33m high so is OK for height. The maker of the LED lamps does not say the wattage or whether they are E marked but I could ask.
It helps to know that these lights are known as marker lamps. Thanks again, Alex
