chequerplate sliding door floor trim

Post by nevill3 »

I have a metal checker-plate sliding door floor trim on my camper that covers the edge of the floor where the sliding door opens. It was on the camper when we bought it but a work colleague would like one the same.

Does anybody know who made these or where I could find one for him. It would need to metal/stainless and for a RHD (sliding door on the left) it doesn't have to be checker-plate.

Thanks

I found the Vanwurks one on Google but just wondered if any of the regulars on here had any other suggestions. My friend realises that they are not a common item, he has a plastic one fitted but admired my metal one. He thinks he knows where to get hold of some stainless steel "angle iron" so may try to fabricate one for himself. If anybody has any links to other suppliers please feel free to post a link for me to look.

Thanks

It's not chequer plate (or durbar), but the strip fitted to my Trident is, I think, aluminium carpet strip and looks good

I know this thread is a few weeks old but found this on Ebay. Looks like a Devon threshold trim.
