Replacement front seats for T25

Post by gutmeg »

Hi All, and good day to you all
Have not posted for a while, as have not been able to log on but the 80-90 sorted for me which was very much appreciated.
I am after some advice please on getting some alternative seats with head restraints and maybe arms that would be a lot more comfortable than the original ones fitted.
I am not sure if there are any out there that fit the bill, regarding ease of fitting etc, I am not worried about being able to swivel the seat around, and am not sure if it is best to look on E-bay for suitable seats which at this moment I am not sure what would be or go to a breakers yard, when I know what I am looking for.
If anyone out there could assist on this please and point me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks to you all & regards

With a bit of ingenuity and a welder most seats can be made to fit but only seats from a T25 fit straight in, add armrests and you're talking between £200-£400 depending on condition for a pair of carravelle/carat/multivan seats.

I would recommend Isringhausen seats. If you are able to get a pair of these second hand then you will not be dissapointed. Also fit right in without modification.

t4 seats are a direct swap if you buy them with the runners, if not then it's only a case of grinding a few edges for about 10 minutes. T4 seats are a lot cheaper on eBay than T3 ones and more plentiful, win-win.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

Fitted RX8 seats in mine. Heated, electric, leather, incredibly comfortable. £60 off eBay! Bit of work to fit but not too bad.

Many Thanks for the replies, just wondered how easy it would be to alter if it does not fit initially
