Hello, have a 1.9DG t25 1984 but looking to have the power steering modification done.
I live in Lowestoft Suffolk. Anyone nearby that will do this?

Do check with your insurer first though. A few have come a cropper fitting one. Not much point having easy steering if you discover your insurance is void. Do that bit first. This is why you find used ones on ebay so much.

He probably didn't tell them. Not a good idea. I'd rather know I was covered with one fitted.

Buy from somebody reputable. It is a cut in your steering column then welding it up, you want to know its done properly not by somebody that's unqualified. Then get in touch with your insurance. Mine were ok about it.
