rear shock absorber bolts

help !! can anybods out there tell me what length the rear shock bolts are for a 1980 2.0 air cooled , bought some new shocks to go with my new trailing arms and new cv joints . i know they are an m12 but not know the length .
i could go out and measure them myself but its a bit dark out there now and i want to get ,em ordered ASAP .
sourced some trailing arm bolts and nuts recently got ,em a damn sight cheaper than thru the normal outlets , brickwerks were the nearest price , whilst JK were just outrageously priced .
hopefully soon i may start a resto thread as i have been gathering parts for months , all new panels and a full rebulid of the rear suspension .
Boatbuilders bloody excellent thread is partly responsible and rust is also partly responsible .

To answer my own question they are M12 60 mm .and i will use met fine thread .
