On a whim, I ordered up a Brickwerks Boost Pin for my AAZ equipped Westy. I should have checked my pump compatibility first though because it looks like I have the (non-LDA) ECO pump fitted
Did the cars fitted with this pump produce less power? Can I convert it? Is it worth it? Should I junk it and fit a pump with LDA?
Comments, advice appreciated.
Thanks.

All the aaz engines produce the same power, earlier engines although fitted with a lda equipped pump had a straight cut lda pin so the lda didn't do anything.
The lda is actually there to limit off boost fuel the max fueling is controlled by the max fuel screw, you could adjust the fueling to give yourself more power but you are limited by how much smoke you deem acceptable off boost

Thanks for the reply. I thought the LDA boosted fuelling on boost. I should have researched it properly
