Engine choice?

I'll be starting immediately after Malvern/Busfest/Vanfest/hangover weekend...

Trying to decide what to do with my 2.1 petrol(in a factory high top camper) (went bang on the way to Busfest) - i'm suspecting the leaking pushrod tube gave way, dropping the oil onto the exhaust, huge white smokescreen (thought whole rear end was on fire ! - thankfully it was only a few small flames on the exhaust - put out with my toddlers squash bottle.
I do around 65 - 70 on the motorway - a few dashes to Falmouth / Birmingham etc recently from sunny south wales.

Haven't done anything yet - just trying to think what to do for the best (not much cash around either
