Front wing and fuel filler repair panel

Post by JMGR33N »

Hey all,

I think I know the answer but wanted to check.
My van came with a repair panel for the drivers side front wing and fuel filler area.

I've just unpacked it and found it doesn't have the hole for the fuel filler. -_-

Now I suspect this is simply just the wrong panel, maybe for a LHD or something?

This was the label on it.

Presumably it's one for a syncro, which has the filler near the back.

I believe these are considered the best non VW item. I've used the rears and can confirm they are loads better than the usual rubbish.

Well the good news is the right front wing panel from brickwerks is deff the one I need...

However nob-head of the year award goes too...

I was told the panel I got with the van was to repair the front wing area and fuel filler. I unpacked it the other night(in my defence it was dark) and noticed it had no filler hole. So I came to the conclusion with everyone else that it was for a Syncro.

I've just been out to take a picture and thought hang on that doesn't look right!

...turns out it is a rear right arch panel. [SEE-NO-EVIL MONKEY]

I think you might be right, I had tried pealing the top label back but it had destroyed the writing underneath.

Luckily looking at it in broad daylight it was a little more obvious lol
