Skim board table

Post by moggymorgan »

Hi guys.
Thinking of replacing the table with a skim board.i know it's been done many times but how do you attach it to the leg bracket ? I presume a thicker plate would be needed for the screws.thanks for any advice.

I cut a piece of wood(about one and a half inch thick) the same shape as the bracket and glued it to skim board also I flattened the board with steam and weights to get it flat.

I epoxied a piece of 18mm ply to the bottom, cut to the shape of the Fiamma table leg bracket. Been there 3 years and still going well.
