Cab door speakers

Post by ninja.turtle007 »

One of my cab door speakers had started to make a bit of a crackle. They look like they are original. I'm looking for suggestions on what to replace them with. I know they are never going to sound amazing due to their positions, but a little better sound would be great but also without looking out of place.

The opening 90mm in diameter and I don't make to make it any larger.

Current head unit is a Blaupunkt Hamburg MP68.

Biggest you can fit without too much hassle is 6.5", i fitted these Pioneer 6.5"s in my westfalia, requires a little trimming of the metal behind the panel, and the panel itself, which i didn't mind as my panels weren't in the best condition, i also moved the drivers door pocket to the left to clear the speaker.

I didn't have any speakers in mine so was a massive difference from the single blaupunkt speaker in the dash that was distorting due to age
