Well yesterday was a crappy day. After traveling to pickup my awning ready for Busfest on my way home I hit the smallest speed bump in the world a little hard even though I was doing less that 10 mile an hour. Unaware what damage I had done I continued to drive. As I got closer to home which was only 3 miles
Away I started to lose power. After getting home I realised I had put a lovely hole in my sump and lost all my oilon the way home. Unfortunately she is not fitted with a vw engine but a 1.9td Peugeot xud engine. I'm
Hoping that I haven't done to much damage as I will be absolutely devastated if I miss Busfest. Wondering if you guys think my engine is dead or will it be ok with some fresh oil and new sump. When I pulled over there was still a dribble of oil coming out but hardly anything.

If you started loosing power something obviously tightening up in the engine. Try it with fresh oil and filter , nothing to loose.
If its fine I'd then do another oil and filter change just to make sure there's no crap in the oil .
Hope it works out ok .

Thanks for the advice. My thinking was the lose in power may have been due to the fact the turbo was getting no oil. Which may have killed my turbo. However if rather that than the engine
