Table hooks - anyone used these?

Post by CovKid »

Has anyone used these in the past? Designed to hook one end of a board to a cupboard or panel to form a table. Just wondered how robust they are.

Table hooks need to resist upward forces as well, so when you put downward pressure on the end of the table past the leg they don't come unhooked and spill hot drinks over the kids.

There are better designs with a safety catch. This is not the one I was looking for but does illustrate the principle.

Saw those but assumed you'd also need to have a rail for them to sit on.
