I've been around long enough to know this topic gets covered a lot. However, please take a look at the picture as this seems like the best option to fit a middle 3 point seatbelt to a Campervan with aftermarket rock n roll bed.
Question is, where can you get the type of seatbelt in the picture?
If you look closely it has a 'tongue' where the 'end bracket' would normally be. Thus allowing the middle belt to be fully removed once the bed is out. With a 3rd child on the way this will be the next big job for me.
Any help appreciated.
Pinched the picture off 8090 yonks ago. If it's yours please get in touch.
Thanks, Jon.

I did this too, I think I used http://www.safetybeltservices.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. if you look back at my previous posts you'll find more details. Measure the length you need with the biggest person you can find, and get them to lean and stretch forward so the seat occupant can reach forward without potential discomfort (leading to the temptation to slip the belt off the shoulder and not replace it )
I put the left hand belt reel in the standard place, the centre belt reel up on the "pillar", with a loop for it to feed through, which I recall it was supplied with. Basically I think I emailed s.b.s. with my specific requirements and they gave me a quote.
Good luck

Thanks very much for that. They should be able to supply exactly what I need. Couple of questions if you don't mind please:
Can you remember the length you used for your middle belt?
Did you use 2 separate anchor points for 2 of the stalks/receivers? Or did you bolt 2 to the same spreader plate?
Thanks again.

Can't remember, and can't remember. If I were you I'd measure the length needed, will vary on seat type, fixing position etc. Get longer than you need. It won't all retract into the reel, you'll have to put a clip or something on the belt to stop it retracting. They offer forewarnings of what happens if too much retracts (the mechanism becomes terminally jammed).
As for the receiver fixings, it's prob safer to give each one it's own bolt and spreader plate. I don't think I did, but I would if doing it again, in retrospect.

I know only too well about the seatbelt retracting too far into the housing. Happened to one of mine prior to fitting. But with the help of 8090 I got it undone.
Will post up further updates when I get this done.

another option is to get ceiling mounted twin tongue seat belt, they are used in tourans and galaxys and are actually VW parts. The ones you need are the rear middle.
These can be mounted to the rear beam and fully retracted when bed in use!!
I remember someone mounting one from the ceiling on 8090 a while ago. Might have a mooch round the local scrapyards for something that may work.
However, just spoken with safety belt services, very helpful bloke, who knew exactly what I was on about. Reckoned about £85. Said to tell them him the length the belt needs to be, whether I want a stalk or webbing receiver and the length of that webbing/stalk. Sounds dead easy. Just need a spreader plate for mounting on the D pillar and the 2 receivers can be bolted to the existing holes that are already there.

What stalks do you use though? The std receivers seem to be fitted directly to the middle seat in the Galaxy - is there an old school, long stalk alternative? Would be just what I'm after if so!
