Hi All

Thought you might be interested to see these. It's 95% finished. Up and running perfectly now, just some cosmetic tidying up to do, plus adjusting the exposed oil pipe for more clearance and yet to make new bash guards.

Like what you have done there. Is the inlet manifold off the 2.0 16v.

Thanks!

Inlet is part 1.8T from the Passat donor, part 16v and part Cupra I believe. Lots of welding!

Yeh I half answered my own question last night when I found one of my bookmarked sites on thesamba from a chap that did the same a few years go. He has been well happy with it and has just clocked up 40,000 miles with no issues.

As well as the manifold, I guess you had to do a bit work on the engine mounts to marry up with the engine bars and also miss the turbo.
