High powered Pump / Hose

Post by bmouthboyo »

Looking at the possibility of upgrading or adding a second fresh water pump in our Autosleeper Trooper.

We are in the process of restoring the interior and now have a boxer dog!! I would very much like to be able to hose the dirty bugger down, or at least his paws before he tramples mud all over after a long walk.

I assume the existing tap pump is very weak so wondered if it would be plausible to replace with a more high powered one which split into to outlets, one for sink and one for a long hose which is either mounted externally underneath or can reach outside, or if it might be better to keep the tap with normal pump and fit a second high powered one, if such exist for 12v?

Anyone any knowledge on the matter?

Cheers :ok

I have a 100psi pump in our van, mounted in the potty box
It can deliver 5 litres per min
We use it as our summer shower.
With the correct jets you can jet wash muddy bikes very quickly
Look at Shurflo or Aquatech. 100 psi pumps.
Commonly used for window cleaning these days

They use 10 amp on full chat and come with a safety pressure switch cut off
I use mine with a pump speed controller (I have a spare one if you're interested) which is useful.

That must be a very startling bidet.
Are we going on anything else?
