gear linkage
Hi. When I fastened up the brackets at the rear of the gearbox, for the gear linkage, the shaft seemed to lose its full play and it wouldn't select reverse, first or second. When I undid the small bracket it restored full travel. I'd greased the shaft where the gaiters are attached to either side of that final spherical bush. Any thoughts?

Re: gear linkage
Make sure that you have mounted the bracket the correct side of the flange, wrong side will give those symptoms.

Re: gear linkage
Will do Oldie, cheers for the rapid response.
Re: gear linkage
I did as Oldie advised, the bracket was attached to the wrong side and the amount of travel improved but it still won't engage all the gears and the travel seems too limited still. When I take the bolts out, it seems to select all except reverse. Could it be the clutch cylinder needs bleeding more?
