ignition key broke off in starter/steering lock T25

The bottom of the ignition key has broke off in the starter/steering lock . is there any way to fish it out or can you take it apart to get it out.

You can take the whole barrel out, which you'll find tutorials for. That should do it. One called Bens Place has good instructions online, he's based in Montreal where the transporter is called a vanagon. Search and you'll find it
