Re: Tracker

I have only recently installed my tracker, following a few van thefts a bit too close to home for my liking.
I took the van to the garage this morning for a bit of work, and was very much reassured to receive 3 text messages from the van, telling me it was 'on the move', and later, when I checked the van's location, it showed it to be exactly where I parked it on the garage forecourt.

Now, I know that's what they are supposed to do, but this gives me a lot of comfort in knowing that I am a little less likely to lose my pride & joy.

I am using geotab go7 from https://www.gofleet.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for myPeugeot Bipper and three mitsubishi l200 and using it for almost two years without having any problem. Its good to go I think. There are some other good devices also in market like tomtom, fleetmetricks etc.

I just phoned my three year old TK103 and it says it's on the driveway outside.

for the sake of £25 quid I thought I'd get one (TK103) - and then investigate other options but it's been perfect. I'd be about to pay the next instalment in any subscription based service about now but don't have to. :ok

Weirdly the other night I was dreaming that 3 blokes were stealing the van from my old parents house. I woke up middle of the night and had a text, stockade warning. Rushed out but the Van was ok, I'd set the stockade area too small and bad weather had made the gps signal screwy but was good to know it was working (just need wider area for stockade)

I'll never tell you where it is, because I know what you'll do. :D
