HELP!!! WINDSCREEN APERTURE SIZE

Post by msilvey »

HELP PLEASE

I've just had a new upper nose fitted - broke the screen when getting it out - DUR AND GRRRR ALL IN ONE

anyway, windscreen fitters are struggling to get the new screen in, first attempt the screen cracked getting it in. Can anyone give me an aperture measurement so I can verify it against mine? 6 measurements I reckon..

inner flange/ seam/ lip (narrowest measurement, the bit the seal slots into) left, middle, right
lead in ledge (bit that the ribbed bit of the seal presses against, will be bigger than the inner flange/ seam/ lip bit) left middle edge

top to bottom measurements, not worried about the side to side measurements as pillars were not changed.

Thanks in advance..
