Brickwerks late WBX stainless exhaust?

Post by itchyfeet »

E D I T they are sold by BW just not easy to find on the mobile webshop :ok

Brickwerks used to sell a stainkess copy of a standard exhaust, parts were largely interchangeable with the standard steel sections
These are not sold by BW anymore, I think theg had them made, anybody see them elsewhere?

I have a 2&4 pipe thats cracked beyond repair.

thanks

Not sure if it is a BW one, but never seen anybody else selling these.
Both 2&4 and 1&3 are split with joins that need U bolts
This is no criticism of BW, Stainless exhausts crack if not installed properly.
All bolts needs to be assembled loose and slowly tightened in stages to prevent stress on any one weld.

Looks like this one has been welded before.
Deffo all stainless just not cleaned up yet.

everything else is in great condition

PS how do you remove heat marks?

Follow Brickwerks drop downs as follows

T3 Engine
T3 Petrol
T3 Exhausts

They really, really are poor welds but I think its serviceable, tig stainless filler rod bit of flat wheeling, could even tig weld a plate on top to strengthen.

on a tablet you only get budget exhaust parts, you see the lot on a pc but I didn't know that.
