Does anyone have an idea of the cost to get all the belts changed on a 1.6td at a garage please ?

Depends if you want it done properly, is possible to do it it 1.5 hours it won't be right but it will be new belts.
It's more important to ask the garage how they will set the timing, if the answer is anything other than with a dti or a pulse adapter then walk away, from what I have seen most garages will mark the pulleys with paint.
Ask for a full written estimate if it doesn't include a cam cover gasket they aren't doing it correctly.

OK thanks for the reply, it's having mot .Tomorrow and they are going to give me a quote for belt change ,will it be best to change water pump whilst at it ?
